Through 10 intensive Korean Language courses, students are given a chance to understand Korean fundamentals and improve their ability to learn the Korean language. Special Lectures are organized in blocks, which each block having topics covering the Korean language, Korean society, Korean folklore and contemporary culture, Korean Media, etc. An in-depth look at various aspects of Korea will also be experienced through five special lectures diverse on the Korean society and culture. All lectures will be taught in English. The winter program provides students with courses covering Korean language and culture, which is a perfect way to introduce students planning on studying at CAU during the following semester to the culture and language.

|DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)
The DMZ is a buffer zone to prevent an armed conflict after the armistice agreement between South Korea and the DPRK. You can experience the reality of the divide between two Koreas at the DMZ
Students will get a chance to touch, see, and wear Hanbok so that they can understand the beauty of Korean traditional clothes.
Students will have an opportunity to participate and learn Korean pop style dance moves
|Korean Trendy Calligraphy
Students will have a chance to learn Korean Calligraphy. They will be introduced to calligraphy theories and instruct ways to practice Korean calligraphy.
|Ski Trip to Gangwon-do
Located in the mid-eastern part of the Korean peninsula, Gangwon-do Province is blessed with beautiful mountains and clean beaches that offer some of the best sceneries and vacation spots throughout the year. Skiing is one of the most popular winter sports for Koreans and will be a great opportunity for the students to enjoy the Korean Winter with its snowy Korean Mountain view.
Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial art. It is an art of self-defense that uses the movement of the hands and feet.
